Better than a half-dozen of us met in Venice, in January, at the Manasota 6S (Success) event — South Sarasota Second Saturday Social Soiree. Originally scheduled for Amore’s Italian Restaurant, things were switched up on-the-fly, as it was discovered at that point that Amore’s was temporarily closed for lunches. So, Linda called an “audible”, and off to Italiano’s we went.
That bit of adventure happening, it was a great time. I’ve now been to I believe three of these events, and greatly enjoy each one. Conversation was spirited — and you always have to love any gathering around food.
